Primary and Secondary Education & Colleges and Universities

In 2009, the Fort Payne City Board of Education was recognized by Valley Innovation Alliance for its implementation of Prometheus Activclassroom in all of the district's classrooms. The project was made possible through a partnership between the Fort Payne City Board of Education, the Hudson-Alpha Institute in Huntsville, Alabama, and the Rotary Clubs of North Alabama. The technology innovations are just one way example of how Fort Payne City and DeKalb County schools are striving to provide superior educational opportunities for students.
